Most farms begin with a production question: what can we grow? Varmers begins with a commercial one: what will actually be used?
From forecast to commitment
A crop plan becomes more useful when the variety, quality, quantity and delivery rhythm are clear before planting. That does not remove every biological risk, but it gives production a concrete target and reduces the temptation to fill every square metre with a crop that has no buyer.
Grow to Demand connects a kitchen or retailer requirement to propagation, staggered planting and harvest dates. The result is a supply programme, not just an isolated harvest.
What still needs validation
New crops may require a trial. Yield, flavour, shelf life and energy use can change by variety and recipe. A responsible plan separates measured results from estimates and expands only after both production and demand are proven.
