A seed catalogue can tell us that a crop exists. It cannot guarantee how that variety will behave inside a specific farm in Bangkok.
A trial answers the practical questions
Varmers trials can compare germination, spacing, light, irrigation, nutrition, days to first harvest, saleable yield, flavour and shelf life. The trial also reveals how much operator attention the crop requires.
Results become a versioned crop recipe. Estimates are replaced with measured ranges, while any remaining uncertainty stays visible.
Commercial validation matters too
A biological success is not automatically a commercial success. The customer still needs to accept the specification and price, and demand must be large enough to justify production capacity. The best recipe joins both kinds of evidence.
